Participants sought for a workshop focusing on dams and dam removal in your area! Come join experts for a guided tour and discussion of the aquatic barriers present in the Wynant's Kill Creek Watershed. Learn about the ecology and habitat restoration efforts for Hudson River heritage migratory fishes. Activities include an informational session, field exploration of riparian habitats upstream and downstream of Burdens Pond dam and electrofishing with species identification. Note: Participants should wear protective clothing and footwear and may be asked to wade in shallow waters (waders, hip boots or rubber boots are required if entering water near electricity).
